Historical microslides
Here is a small overview of microslides used through time collected from all over the world. Many types of microslides were used from different materials in different parts of the world. Typical for Eastern Europe were for example small formats of microslides made usualy out of plastic, cardboard or acrylic sheet. First microslides were those with circular cavity and with large rectangle cutting with printed sectors on the bottom (so called Franke and Plummer cells). Some of microslides in our collection are rather unusual like the not common "sun" like division of the sectors (with circular cavity). Enjoy the view of the past because we can learn much from taking a better look at all of these ancestral microslides and learn to make better properties for kreativika microslides.
